Open Class Beef Show - Sunday, August 13th at 10:00 am

Please register online by 5:00 pm on Monday, August 7th, 2023. Payment accepted morning of show via cash/check. If you need to register after 8/7 please call Laura Stobb (320)-296-0012

Entry Fee: $5 per animal/per lot in classes B, C, and D. $10 per animal/per lot for jackpot market classes E and F. Registration fee doubles if pre-registration not received. No fee for novice class A but pre-registration is still encouraged.

Premiums for classes B, C &D: 1st place = $20, 2nd place = $15 and 3rd place = $12

1. All livestock trailers will enter grounds through the north gate on Sunday morning.
2. All animals must have proper I.D. as required by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health (weblink)
3. All exhibitors must provide their own feed and bedding for this show. Limited stalling available. Trailer parking will be available on the North and East sides of show pavilion for exhibitors to show from their trailers.
4. Animals to be brought in for the day of show only. Animals are released at the completion of the show.
5. Farm names may be used in exhibit areas for advertising but no "For Sale" signage in the exhibit areas.
6. The Mille Lacs County Agricultural Society is not responsible for accidents, injuries, etc., or any transmittable diseases that may occur on the grounds.

DIVISION A: NOVICE BEEF SHOWMANSHIP

Class:
Novice Age 9 years or younger, to show an available animal. Participation awards for all exhibitors.

DIVISION B: BREEDING FEMALES

Class:
Early Spring Calf born January 1st - April 30th, 2023
Breeding Fall Calf born September 1st, - December 31st, 2022
Breeding Summer Yearling born May 1st- August 31st, 2022
Breeding Late Junior Yearling born March 1st- April 30th, 2022
Breeding Early Junior Yearling born January 1st- February 28th, 2022
Breeding Senior yearling born September 1st- December 31, 2021
Cow/Calf Pair: cow any age, calf born on or after January 1st, 2023 (must be cow's natural calf)

DIVISION C: BREEDING BULLS

DIVISION D: PROSPECT MARKET CALVES

Class:
Prospect Beef Steer Calf: born January 1st - April 30th, 2023 (must be castrated, no bull calves)
Prospect Dairy Steer Calf: born January 1st - April 30th, 2023 (must be castrated, no bull calves)
Prospect Heifer Calf: born January 1st- April 30th, 2023 (heifers may be shown either as a breeding heiver or market heifer but not both)
